She loves Swiss Days and staying at the Zermatt Resort there in Midway, Utah.
Swiss Days is the celebration of the Swiss pioneers.
The awesome thing about Swiss Days is that the city of Midway gives 1/2 of the booth proceeds
to the general missionary fund of the church, around $100,000.
Each ward has their own booths filled with lots of enable goodies and
there are hundreds of booths selling art, jewelry, baby items, music, crafts of cloth, wood, metal, wax, yarn.
It's hard not to buy it all. I like to walk all the way through and then decide what it was I liked the most.
The hot item of the year was jewelry, beaded watch bands and rosettes made for your hair or cloths.
The entertainment is awesome too, my favorite was the yodeler with his accordian
and the 12 yr. old girl who played her violin, she was amazing.
It was very hot and tons of people, but lots of fun and very exciting.
Midway is located right behind the Timpanogos Mountains.
We stayed at the Zermatt Resort, rich with Swiss decor.
Our room, 1046 was located in the villa at the end of a mile long hall.
Carolyn and I were talking and making our way to the main lobby when we looked up
and saw that we were at a dead end, we had no idea where we were.
We would try finding a shorter way, but it just got more complicated.
Friday night we sat in the jacuzzi till about 11 p.m., soaking our tired legs
and then went to the restaurant for onion rings, ice cream and nacho chips.
Three of us went in our pj, we were the only ones in there while they were cleaning up.
We had a great time laughing, stuffing our faces and listening to Carolyn's crazy stories.

The young waitress was so cute, asking all about our day and showing us her new watch band she got.
We then went back to our room where we broke out the Peanut Butter and Coconut M&Ms
and showed each other all of the fun things we bought.
We all had a great time and can't wait for next year.
Thanks Allie for another fun adventure.
