Pears and Conference

I love Conference Weekend.

We don't have to go anywhere, just enjoy being home with the fall breeze coming

through the window listening to our church leaders give us wise counsel,

inspiring us to be better and to endure in righteousness

and the joys and blessings of serving others.

"Look Up, Step Up and you will Cheer Up"

This was my favorite quote of this conference day.

President Thomas S. Monson announced new temples to come.

The most exciting was the announcement of the Provo, Utah tabernacle that caught on

fire last year with only the exterior still standing, will be renovated and become a temple!

President L. Tom Perry admonished the saints to, " be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity"  
2 Timothy 4:12 

Conference inspires in me a renewed commitment to be better and to follow my Savior, 

Jesus Christ, and His perfect example.

The purpose of conference 

Pam and I bottled 13 quarts of pears and made Pear Butter.

This is the only way to preserve food......with a friend!
