Pot Roast

"I need to ask you a question"

I call her and Sundi wants to know how to cook a pot roast in her new crock-pot.

So, I tell her what she needs to do.

"You can't really mess up a roast, just go for it"

She put her roast in before heading to work.

I get a text from Robert, "The house smells way de lish"

 On her way home from work, "How do I do the gravy?"

She did a wonderful job.

So proud of her. 

She wouldn't cook when she was young and I felt I had failed in preparing her

to be a wife and mother.....but she is doing it!

I only failed her by not letting her feel comfortable in learning to cook.
