After Wind, Sundi and Blue arrived at Seth and Jessica's we left at 7:30 am. We drove south on hwy 26 to Alpine, Wyoming. There we rented two more sleds so we had four to ride. Wind did just buy another sled but it wasn't ready for this trip. We then drove up US 189/191 along the Hoback River. After unloading we rode our sleds along a 10 mile trail that follows along the Granite Creek up to the hot springs. It was so cold. Seth, Wind and Jessica didn't think it was too cold, but the rest of us were freezing. Troy and I slept at Seth's while Blue and Sundi stayed at Wind's in Driggs (8 miles north of Victor). Troy and I cranked on the heat in our room and Seth commented on how hot it was in there. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.
Sundi woke up that morning with a cold. She didn't feel well at all and was a little cranky. She was sniffling, coughing, sneezing, tired and complaining all the way up. She couldn't understand why I had planned our snowmobiling on the day we were all driving back home. She wanted to know how late we were going to be. I took her to the store to get her cold medicine, drug her up for the trip. She has no snow cloths so she had to wear Wind's old coat and Seth's snow pants with a his belt to keep them up. Under the coat she is wearing two tank shirts, shirt and two hoodies and under the pants she has long legged underwear, pj bottoms and jeans on. Seth, Jessica and Wind were kind enough to equip some of us with gloves, coats and Blue a suit to wear.
This picture cracks me up, she looks like a complete nerd, but she still is cute.
Sundi said she had fun. She was nervous riding with Blue, she knew he had no experience. The first place we stopped to do some riding Blue dumped his sled on it's side. Everyone dumped their sleds and that made Blue feel better.
When we got there it was crazy, everyone else was there to sled as well. There were a couple of tours there and one large group from Wisconsin. For how many sledders there were it was ok. Seth and Wind are very good at handling the sleds and get right to business of unloading them. It was great having them around because they know what they are doing.

Poor Sundi. She looks miserable. The guys look like they are in their element. Real mountain men.
