Gift Exchange

 Ki and Zeus as Mr and Misses Clause!

Ki had a bum deal because he is not a Misses,

he looks pretty offended by the whole thing.

I love that my children are getting old enough to contribute to the dinner;

We enjoyed Sundi's 7 Layer Dip while waiting for dinner to heat up.

Jessica's killer Corn Bake (she calls it something else),

was great with my Chicken Enchiladas and Wind's awesome Green Salad. 

While opening gifts we shared a Christmas that we remembered.

Jessica remembered playing in a little tent in the Christmas Room after Christmas
was set up and then her dad and Uncle came in to visit and she had to stay in the
tent for several hours before they left.

Wind remembered sneaking downstairs and seeing what Santa set out for him
and he was excited, but Seth had also gotten up
and took one of Wind's gifts and put it in his pile.

When Wind got up and couldn't find one of his gifts he saw that Seth had it.

Sundi remembered getting up and seeing Wind sitting at the top
of the stairs waiting to go down, he had to go pee really bad,
but knew he wasn't allowed to go downstairs.

Christina remembered getting locked out of the house
and had to sit in the car to stay warm.

Seth remembered one Christmas he was really sure that he was getting a dirt bike,

he was looking everywhere for it, he ran outside to find it...he never did.
(that broke our hearts)

Troy remembered the year all of his siblings got pets for Christmas, "It was cool".

I remembered wanting a brown corduroy outfit and my mother had gotten it.

Jessica wrapped Wind's gift in huge box with heating duck tape, then there was another box

inside and inside of that was a note, "Sorry, forgot to put your gift inside"
Wind preferred doing the White Elephant Gifts like we did last year,
so we will do that next year.
It was pretty fun.
