Thanksgiving

Wind brought Curtsy, Willie and Kanook down from Driggs to leave them at our place for the winter. Curtsy, is Mark's and he took her down to Bluffdale on the their way to Thanksgiving at Rich and Mary Kaye's. Seth and Jessica went to St. George to spend Thanksgiving with her family.

Wind was able to get Blue to help him fence off some pasture for the horses. They worked on it 3 weekends. I asked Blue if he liked working with Wind, "Yes".

Troy and Wind took Shane to Misty's on their way down. Blue and I stopped in Brigham City to pick up Sundi, Christy and Berta. We then dropped Christy off in American Fork where her dad met us. Shortly after arriving at Rich and Mary Kaye's we all went to the theater to watch A Christmas Carol is 3D. Troy and Wind didn't make it to the movie because they were dropping the horse off. That was my first 3D movie, it was pretty crazy. We all looked funny in our glasses. Levi sat beside me slurping on his slushy driving me crazy with his straw squeaking up and down through the plastic lid. I thought that drink would never end. Blake, Chad, Blue and Luke actually went to the New Moon vampire movie. It was late and the lobby in the theater was empty. We were all standing there and Berta says, "Look at your mom". Mom came out with her glasses on walking like an old person with a cane shaking. It was so, because she was just caught doing it.

On Thanksgiving Day the guys played football, mom, Mary Kaye and I ran to Wal Mart for some last minute things, X-Box 360 playing, food preparation and there was a lot of pool playing.

Mom was the Pool Queen. She even impressed all of the grandchildren. The challenge of the day was to beat grandma at a game of pool. Watching her play was like watching her 35 years ago, she was young again using all of her moves she knew. She was loving it.

Wind and Seth had been doing a lot of duck hunting so, Wind treated everyone to duck meat marinated and wrapped in bacon. We met Mary Kaye's two children, Bjorn and Jacque. Jacque's fiance, Brian came too.

Dinner was wonderful and everyone had a great time being together. Thank you Rich and Mary Kaye for a awesome Thanksgiving Day.

After dinner Troy, Mary Kaye, Jacque, Duke and I went for a walk up into the orchards behind their home. Mary Kaye showed us where the ground was all turned up from where they believe where two bull elks challenged each other. It was a beautiful day.
