In Blue's previous letter he wanted to know two things; why we named him
"Blue" and where did dad serve his mission. These are the two things I am
asked all of the time, says Blue.
Troy's "first" mission was too Billings, Montana.
He was only out 2 wks when he bailed, because he was too
scared, he says "Satan
filled me full of fear". He hid the phone, took the car and got a plain ticket under a
different name and flew to Los Angles CA. The mission President had to call his
parents and tell them they didn't know where he was. He stayed there with some
friends for a couple of weeks when he decided that he needed to go home and face
his family. His Bishop interview him and got him right back out on another mission
where he served and completed a mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was
not an easy thing for him to serve a mission however, he is grateful for his mission
and that he had the opportunity to serve.

Troy always wanted a boy named after the painting "Little Boy Blue". His family
told me that he wanted a boy named Blue before we even were married.
When he was young and in an art class discussing the painting "Little Boy Blue",
he thought of the names he would want to name his children and thought he didn't
know anyone named "Blue". The spirit told us what Seth's name would be, when
Wind was born he asked me, "Is his name Blue?" I told him, "no". So when we found
out that we were having another boy, dad was really excited because he was
going to name him Blue.

This week's letter from Blue was very short;
"I don't really have much to talk about and got lots to do today so I will have more to
talk about next time but in the mean time here is a bunch of pictures if you want more
talk about next time but in the mean time here is a bunch of pictures if you want more
explanations of the pictures just
let me know love ya "
(side note; the geese were are neighbors who came the next day and got them. He
stuffed them in grain bags, wrapped duck tape around the bags, set them on
the floor of his truck and then he and Troy spent at least half hour talking,
till the geese started wiggling in their bags...probably gasping for air)
