Spring Cleaning the Coup

"What the heck are you doing?"

 My 10 little hens were so excited to be released to the world beyond their

mud hole of a chicken yard.

They discovered the garden dirt and went to town dusting their feathers.

Chickens are entertaining to watch, they have a lot of personality.

 Their coup is an ugly sight come this time of year and can I say.......smells really bad.

I was choking, it was so bad.

This is not a glamorous job.....I thought of my sister-in-laws,

"They would never do this"

Can you see how clean I got the inside?

The hens love a coup filled with fresh straw.
