Seth, Wind and Julie went sky diving in Ogden on July 11. They met up with Julie in Brigham City. Here they are all suited up and with their certificates. They had a great time. They did Tandum jumps where their instructor is on their back and does everythings for them, they just go for the ride. The instructor has them move their arms while in the falling so they would turn or fall head first. Wind went on to go again the following weekend with Julie, Christy, Cameron (Christy's boyfriend and Roland). He wants to get certified so that he can do solo jumps. I think he says that he has to do 7 jumps, total. The second time he went he didn't enjoy himself as much. He thinks the instructor had been drinking because he could smell alcohol. His straps were loose so they bruised him. On this jump they let the jumper do everything but the instructor is still with them falling. At the point that Wind needed to pull his cord he couldn't find it. The instructor had strapped it wrong. While scrambling to find it he brought his hands down causing him to fall head first, so he threw his arms back out to stablize himself. The time it took him to find the cord he had fallen 1000 ft. Wind said that he didn't enjoy this flight as much and didn't even take the time to look at the ground. Meanwhile Julie comes flying by screaming with excitment doing loops in the air with her instructor (the one that Wind had on his first jump).

My gosh that was a freaking scary story...Wind, don't do that again, get a different instructor or better yet, don't go sky diving again..ever..

Oh my gosh! That instructor should know better than to drink and then take someone up. That is horrible!
